no more sick days!

well these last 2 weeks have been full of nothing but doctor visits, kleenex shortages, medicines galore, and many many indoor days!!! all of the kids have had their turn to be home from school because they have been sick.

nadya was first, she actually stayed home from school for 6 days. it was her complete nightmare! she had a really bad asthma attack and was put on antibiotics as well as her inhaler treatments and she just layed on the couch for days on end watching every barbie and disney movie that we own.

hannah had a 24 hour bug and stayed home for just one day, but luckily it was on a friday so she had the whole weekend to recover.

christian is having his turn this week and reminds me on an hourly basis how much he hates being stuck indoors. he had a really bad asthma spell on tuesday and ended up at the doctor where we found out that he also had a double ear infection and a very low oxygen level. my worst nightmare is giving christian any medicine, especially the steroid meds he got. the neighbors probably think that brent and i are killing him. he hates it and we end up being drenched in it by the time the 20 minute wrestling match is over with. hopefully this will end soon. he wants to run and play and be his normal self, but anytime he tries he ends up in fit of coughs and has to take forever to recover.

chase has just a little sniffle, but i am hoping that his is just his teeth breaking through. our little caboose just turned 6 months old yesterday. it is hard to believe that he is already that big. he is constant smiles and raspberries and loves to snuggle. he is the best baby!

hopefully the sick days will end soon or i will be checking myself into the looney bin for my own sick days!!!
