new to the blogworld

well, I am jumping on the blog train in hopes that I will be able to jot down some fun things that the kids do everyday and keep track of our comings and goings. i hope that people (whoever they may be that read this) get to know us better and hopefully find our lives much like theirs or maybe they will be glad that theirs is NOT like ours.

just to update to this point, brent is a finish carpenter with his big bro, Lynn and is gimping along with a bum left knee. he hopes to have it cured in time for football season, but we shall see what the doc says. After having chase, i (and brent) decided that it would be best if i stayed home to take care of these crazy kids and become a professional taxi driver, chef, housekeeper, tutor, seamstress, gardener, coach, and anything else that comes with the title of mom. i also am working for a medical transcription company from home and that keeps me very busy into the late hours of the night. hannah just turned 9!! yes, that loud noise you heard on the 3rd of july came from our residence here in plain city. i cannot believe that 1. she is that old, 2. she has survived that long with me as her mother, and 3. i am that old!!! she will start the 4th grade in the fall and can't wait. she also will start dance again and can't wait to get her groove on. nadya is now 6 and starting full day 1st grade in the fall. yes, again the loud sobbing noise is me. she is so excited for 3 recesses and lunch in the cafeteria. (clearly, she has never eaten there.) she will also be dancing this fall and is more excited than ever for this year, because her fav cousin lauren will be dancing with her. christian is almost 4 and will start with teacher andrea in preschool. again, i am sobbing. he is still my little baby boy even though he is now measuring at the height of my elbow. he is sooo excited to be a big boy at school and have his own backpack! chase is now 3 mos old and getting the funnest personality. he smiles and coos at the ceiling fan all the time. i have decided to save some bucks and invest in more of these because he likes the fan more than any of his toys. he is completely crazy (he must be my child)!

our lives are chaotic and crazy, but we love it!! more posts and pics will come later.
