so i will just start with things happening since halloween. luckily it came and went fast. i am not a huge fan of that holiday and for some reason was not even excited about this year. but the kids were and hannah went as a byu superfan, nadya was supergirl, christian was a shadow trooper, chase was not into it at all and went as himself, and mya was a diva in training.

christian attended a wrestling camp at weber high in oct with his cousin wil (our nephew, luke, wrestles there) and he took third in his very first tournament and then we signed him up to wrestle with the fremont junior wrestlers and in his last two tournaments he has placed first. i could not believe how barbaric it seemed to have other boys go after my son with that crazy look in their eyes, but christian just stands there with this smile on his face like he knows something that they don't. he is awesome!!! he has won a few medals and displays them proudly in his room.

brent completed his first football season at mt ogden and they ended up doing really well. he has since started coaching wrestling and has about 40 signed up (last year they had 9) so he is excited to get going and learn all about this sport. graduation day is dec 10 and he cannot wait to say GOODBYE to weber state.
last week me and mya jumped on a plane with audie and surprised jared and his cute family in arizona. jared just graduated from COTA, which is correctional officer training academy and now is working for a correctional facility in safford, az where they live. it was fun to see them and the kids. the girls have gotten so big and it was fun to see aedan for the first time and compare he and mya in size since they are only two weeks apart. i missed my family a TON, but it was great to see them. audie and i have sworn off flying for a while as it took us all day sunday to return home because of flight delays and plane maintenance and finally after catching three different planes we arrived back in slc about 11 hours later than planned. NOT FUN!!! mya was a great traveler and slept through the entire thing.

since it is thanksgiving this week i just want to say how grateful i am for all my blessings this year. we are all healthy, happy, and surrounded by a very supportive and wonderful family. i am so so grateful for brent and how hard he works to support our family and what a great father and husband he is. i am so grateful for all my kiddos. they keep me smiling and on my toes all the time. i couldn't ask for better! we love you all and are so thankful for all the support and love we receive!! have a great holiday!
